ISC selected as contractor for Stray Rescue shelter makeover

ISC has been selected to provide the $1 million-plus makeover awarded to Stray Rescue of St. Louis.

More than 1,000 animal shelters nationwide participated in the first-ever National Shelter Makeover Contest.  Pet lovers earned points for their shelters.

Stray Rescue was founded in 1998 by life-long animal lover, Randy Grim.  The shelter rescues animals in need of medical attention, restore them to health, and places them in loving adoptive homes.

While the $1 million prize is exceptional, it is only about half the funds needed for Stray Rescue to expand from its current 2,800-square-foot shelter to the new 16,500-square-foot facility it is planning.  Those wishing to learn more about the additional fundraising effort now underway to raise the other $1 million needed for the new shelter are encouraged to visit helpstrayrescue.org.
